This high maintenance *****...?

About a year ago I meet this girl. She was a waitress at a restaurant and I was making fun of her, nothing personal. We went out on a date and she blew me off most of the night and demanded that I'd "entertain" her. She was relieved I wasn't pissed when I took her home. Things only got worse. Mind you, I was "kinda" seeing one other girl at the same time. She is also casually dating other people (hypocrite). Any attempts to impress this high maintenance chick only got shot down either to my face or behind my back, yet supposedly she acts like she expects me to be her soul mate. Things went to hell when she'd put up defensive away messages or sobby ringtones on her cell phone like something terrible or weird happened everytime i called her, which wasn't as much as I could have. I eventually get tired of it and put up defensive away messages of my own. She finds out through a bunch of nosy girlfriends that I am "talking" to, not even having (yet) with other girls, and devises to diabolical plan involving all of my so-called friends to "catch me in the act" over something I easily could have told her about or mutually talked over if she wasn't being so snobby about life. I chose another girl over her because I was sick of her condescending bull. And I'm positive she slept with one of those friends that same night out of revenge. She's a hypocrite and a backstabber and I would honestly knock her out like any other guy if I ever saw her again. (Oddly enough, I think that's what she likes about me. But I don't even try or strive for a reputation like that). I think it's just a ton of insecure mind games and my expense and I've had enough. I have other things to worry about, too, like everyone else. I've heard stories but I had not idea high maintenance girls were THAT surreal. You can only take responsibility for so much before the ball is in the other persons court. Anybody know what her deal is in her mind, or motivation or have any experiences like this with high maintenance girls. You shouldn't have to babysit anyone who wouldn't do anything for you. Period. I wouldn't even WANT her to be apart of my family in the near or distant future after that. This girl has no problem crossing the line just to get what she wants out of people, and she's going nowhere with it.
