Something WICKET this way comes? FLU...scare?

hype, bull, media blitz...or...for real?...a little poll...i'll go first: real...why: because in my research on the "flu" i came across some interesting facts. to shorten this question, i'll go straight to the spanish flu pandemic of 1918-1919. this flu strain killed 40 million people world wide. you might think, that was then...this is now, we know so much more..not really. yes we can "work" on a vaccine, but it can take months and even than, may not combat a mutated form. in 1918 the first round of the flu was some what mild...in 1919, when it came back, in flu season, "mutated",they believe... it was a killer...of course flu strains come and go without this kind of a mortality rate, but this 2009 flu has four strains combined and spreads from human to human...this has never been seen before. many people seem to criticize the "hype" on this outbreak. i don't think the cdc and who are just trying to be careful,... this is and can be a great threat....sure the media could be using this for rating...but i am grateful to those who are taking this seriously and instead of criticizing...i, for one, am saying thank you.....what do you think?...bull...or...real...or...in between???
