My neon fish is gone!?

any of the other fsh could have eaten it, it could be hiding in some plants if you have any, or sometimes they even go and hide under the rocks at the bottomm of the aquarium. sometimes they jump out if theres no covering to the tank and sometimes it just seems like they do disappear
